Privacy
What this website collects, why, and what you can do about it.
In short
I use what you send me to reply and to do your books. I don't sell it. When I run ads, Google and Meta may use cookies on this site to tell me which ads lead to a booked checkup. You can turn that off.
Who I am
Felix Bookkeeping is owned and run by Edward Felix in Hemet, California. Questions about this page go to [email protected] or (951) 292-0103.
What you send me
- The contact form: your name, email, phone, business name, trade, how far behind your books are, and your message. Formspree delivers it to my email.
- The booking calendar: your name, email, and any answers you give when you book. Bookings run through Cal.com.
- Email, calls and texts you send me directly.
I use this to reply, to set up your checkup, and to do the work you hire me for. I don't sell it or rent it to anyone.
Your books and bank records
If you become a client, your books, statements and other records are covered by your engagement letter, not this page. They are never used for advertising and never uploaded to an ad platform.
Cookies and ad tracking
This site may use two ad tools:
- The Google tag, from Google Ads
- The Meta Pixel, from Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
They use cookies and similar technology to tell me when someone who clicked an ad visits the site, books a checkup, or sends a message. They may also let Google and Meta show my ads to people who have visited this site before. Google and Meta can collect details like your browser, your device, the pages you viewed, and when you visited. They handle that information under their own policies: how Google uses it and Meta's privacy policy.
I only see totals, like how many checkups came from an ad last week. I can't see who you are from this data.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this site doesn't load either tool.
Other services this site uses
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, and its fonts come from Google Fonts. Like any website, these services see basic technical details such as your IP address so they can deliver the page.
Your choices
- Turn off personalized Google ads in My Ad Center.
- Change your Facebook and Instagram ad settings in Meta's ad preferences.
- Opt out of ads from many companies at once through the Digital Advertising Alliance or the Network Advertising Initiative.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
See, fix, or delete your information
Email [email protected] and tell me what you'd like. I'll reply within one business day. If you're a client, some records may need to be kept for as long as the law or your engagement letter requires, and I'll tell you if that applies.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn't meant for children under 16, and I don't knowingly collect their information.
